Google翻訳っておもしろいかも

翻訳はできるだけ自国語でも意味が通り自国語らしさが表れたほうがいいと思うが、Googleの翻訳は見事にこれを覆してくれる。意味不明な文章、自国語の完膚なきまでの破壊。ま、これが機械翻訳でしょうという事なのだが。これならExiteの翻訳の方がまし、て思う。しかしそこに落とし穴がないだろうかとも思う。何となく意味が分かってもそれが違った意味になってしまったらまずいでしょう、てこと。そんなわけでGoogle翻訳は意味をかなり忠実に表そうとしている努力を感じてしまう。単にバカなのかもしれないが。翻訳的な文章というのもかなり浸透して来ているが、Google翻訳が一般的になったらこれは凄い事だな。文化破壊、いやそれを超越してるでしょうこれは。

In what has become a tense standoff with the United Nations, Sudan has adamantly refused to accept the deployment of 22,000 United Nations soldiers and police officers despite public outcries over the increasing danger to the residents of Darfur.

At the United Nations in September, Mr. Bashir said the reports of deaths and displacements in Darfur were “fictions” spread by international aid groups and Jewish organizations to raise money to benefit Israel. 　 And commenting on the international campaign that has arisen to try to end the violence in Darfur, he said, “Those who made the publicity, who mobilized the people, invariably are Jewish organizations.”

なんかとても難解な文章を読んでいるような気がする。Googleて高尚なのね、やっぱり。こんなスタイルが流行ったりして。
